I just recently ordered a SP2022 Nitron. I am curious as to what is the difference in the "Nitron" variant vs non Nitron. I would have assumed the "Nitron" would be the premium variant but it is actually cheaper than the non Nitron. Both variants say the are stainless steel slides and both have...
So I got a question about the c spring in the locking block that locks up the slide catch/lockup I basically turned it upside down so the ends are pointing up because it seemed to be stronger that way..
The issue when I put the slide on and the slide catch in.. it doesn't go in far enough for...
Im looking to purchase a SP2022 in the next few days what do you guys recconmend on doing to it? ive seen people change out the guide rod with an aftermarket one if so which one? Other than that heard its a great firearm. This will be my first SIG SAUER.
Hey, so I made a post about the trigger bar spring and found the right one to get with the help from you all..
I also took it upon myself to get a mag catch stop and spring for my mag catch I still need..
It turns out I probably should have asked you all more questions before I bought stuff...
Hey everyone, I haven't posted here but there's alot of good information.

I got a 40sw sp2022 and mags ate freaking expensive for oem.. I wish I can get them but I just can't especially when there's after market mags..

Hello from Southeast Virginia. I have been a member and lurker since 2013, but first time posting.
I have invested many hours reading Sig Talk forum posts, great stuff.
I have been online checking availability of the required spare parts for a trigger upgrade on my SP2022, and one of the...
I have a 2016 SP2022 and I'm curious as to what these numbers on the barrel mean as I haven't seen any others with it. There is one post here where a user has a similar one, but the numbers are different. Mine says "SP 160 175 MI."
Thanks for any knowledge.
Hi there...so I'm brand new to shooting (other than .22s in Boy Scout camp 100 years ago, and the occasional shotgun). I bought an SP2022 a couple of weeks ago, and looking forward to learning to use it well. Was having some problems re-assembling the pistol and found this forum with clear...
Hello.. first i would like to apologize in advance.. im sure this topic has been discussed more than a few times. Im new to this forum and looking for some quick guidance.
My SP2022 came to me without the slide catch spring. Sig has sent me one to be installed but I have no idea how to install...
Hi all,
I have owned a p226 and sp2022. After deciding to get some trigger work done and changing the sites, I contacted SigSauer and made the arrangements. They said I could not have the guns delivered back at my business address and someone needed to be able to receive them, so to be on the...
Hello all!
I am new to the forum, and the new owner of a fresh-from-the-factory SP2022, and have a few issues....It appears that Sig no longer sells backstraps/grips (of any sort), they have (mostly) removed any mention of changing the grip from the manual (i.e. the table of contents lists a...
Alright, I've lurked on these forums for a bit.
For whatever reason, I really enjoy relaxing pistol target shooting. Actually, I know, anything you can focus on relaxes you and focusing for 300+ rounds is not an issue, other than cost. ;)

Hi All
So finally got my SP2022 .40 s&w back from Sig Sauer to fix a feeding issue. They polished the feed ramp and tested it with 50 rounds. Couldn't wait to get to the range to test it out. The slide racked and fed all rounds beautifully. Very happy. Until....... About 60-70 rounds into my...
As the title states I came across this browsing for a threaded barrel for my FNX 45 (non tactical). I wonder if it's too good to be true. If not then that's one steal of a deal!!

My SP2022 is one of my favorite guns, but I almost ditched it because I hated the magazine baseplate for it. The original SigPro mags that came with it have a baseplate that's almost an inch tall, meaning aftermarket baseplates were a no go. I hated the pinky guard, found it was in the way of my...
I recently went to the range and when I was cleaning my SP2022 afterwards I noticed there was a chipped piece of metal inside the slide located on what I believe to be the disconnector or the housing around the firing pin. I was wondering if anybody could please tell me if this is something that...
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone had an SP2022 FDE grip they'd be willing to part with or sell to me. Preferably I'm looking for the larger size.
Many thanks in advance for any replies or potential leads.
Willie
I took a look on SIG's website for a grip, SMALL, for my SP2022 in 9mm. Can't find it. Odd huh? Where have all the small grips gone? I even checked Midway and others.
