  1. SIG Sauer Pistols
Hi, After some searching here, I found one thread that had a similar question...but, that was in 2015 and it was suggested that I create a new thread rather than revive an old one. My P226 lately has been locking open while firing and rounds are still in the magazine. I've tried all of my...
  2. P250, P320, P320 X-5, M17, & M18 Pistols
First of all let me be very clear, I am not a Sig kinda girl. CZ is my poison and I drink the Koolaid with a vengeance. Each and every CZ I own has worked flawlessly right out of the box, never a single issue with “breaking in” the gun. Take it out to the range, load the mags with ammo...
  3. Legion Series
Stiff slide release? Hey guys. New to the Sig world, just picked up a P226 Legion on the recommendation of the LGS. Always wanted a P226, but hadn't heard of the Legion before. Problem is, the slide release is super stiff. Like, so stiff I almost need to use both thumbs to activate it...
  4. P250, P320, P320 X-5, M17, & M18 Pistols
I have both the P320 in 9mm carry (medium grips) and in .45 ACP compact (small grip). The .45 is a Gen.1 whereas the 9mm is the Gen.2 grip and slide lock back. Talked to SIG customer support today and they would sell me the new Gen.2 slide lock but they stated it won't work on the .45 ACP as...
  5. P238, P938 Pistol
Hi my wife has owned the sig p238 nitron for 2 month's now with about 200 rounds through the gun with no issues. Today when firing the gun the slide lock fell out. Since new she has always racked the slide with the gun side ways with the slide facing down because it is easier for her to do. I...
  6. P238, P938 Pistol
This is my wife's first gun and she loves it. When racking the slide she tends to turn it on it's left side and more than once the slide lock has fallen out. It pops right back in and operates flawlessly until she does that again. I'm trying to get her not to hold it that way, but I'm...
  7. P238, P938 Pistol
I've seen mention of this but search couldn't find a thread. 9 week old P938, born May 2013. I started getting slide lock with rds still in the mag. At first I thought maybe a thumb or such was creeping up and contacting the lever. Nope. Yesterday I confirmed it wasn't me and looked a...
  8. SIG Sauer Pistols
I have experienced my first failures with my P226 on my last three trips to the range. On about one out of three mags, the last round ejects but the slide closes. It has happened with more than one mag, so I don't think that it's the mag(s). Ideas? Thanks in advance for help.
  9. P250, P320, P320 X-5, M17, & M18 Pistols
Purchased a P250 Compact 9mm from Academy early Jan 2013. No ammo available so had to order online. So while waiting for ammo to arrive I cleaned the pistol and would operate the slide on occasion. About a week later I pulled the slide back and it did not lock with the magazine inserted. I...
  10. SIG Sauer Pistols
The Sig design for the P226 22lr does not hold the slide open after the last bullet is ejected. Not sure why, but it just does not hold the slide open - perhaps an undocumented design feature ha ha. At any rate I bought the gun knowing this and thought I could live with this - but soon found...
