I purchased my Sig MPX K to shoot competition. Obviously, I'm using a telescoping pistol brace. I was just told at the range that I could no longer use the brace until I had a tax stamp purchased. Is this ruling actually going to happen? I live in Orlando, Florida.
I have a gen 3 MPX PCC, I filed a form 4 with the ATF to do a SBR. My plan is to shorten the barrel to 12". I just think it will be cool.
Has anybody tried this yet?
finally got tired of waiting for Sig to have their MCX adapter in stock. I had a SBR lower I wanted to use. So I designed my own to work with an AR15 lower. I’ve tested it with the SB folding buffer tube adapter and a generic folder I had laying around. From the pictures it doesn’t look like it...
I was hoping someone could give me some information or point me in the right direction.
I would like to take my 16" MCX Virtus in 5.56 and convert it to an SBR in 300 BLK. I was looking at the 9" 300 BLK conversion kit on Sigs website and I am not sure how to go about purchasing or what steps...
Hi. First post here. I have a MCX SBR and want to cut my 5.56 barrel down to 7.5 inches and run it with a can. I'd use it with bonded ammo if used for home defense, otherwise running FMJ at the range. I already have the larger diameter handguard and use it with my 9" 300BLK barrel and can...
I'm looking to get an SBR and put a can on it. My local shop advised me on the set-up with MPX SBR with a Rugged Obsidian 45 on it. He suggested the can b/c it can be used with so many calibers (45, 9mm, I've even heard it can go on rimfires) which would be a nice option. I wanted to see if...
I'm keeping the one on the top, 11.5" SBR, sporting a Romeo 4S (wanted a 4T but didn't want to wait any longer). The 16" Patrol version was very tempting. I do want a full length upper but that's going to be a while.
This part was a little more fun than I anticipated. Reaction rod and BEV...
I just won a GB auction for an MPX SBR. $1200 seems like a steal to me!
Hopefully the transfer process doesn't take too long. My FFL said they can remove the stock, and make it so I don't need the ATF form/tax stamp to take the gun home. Does anyone have experience with a similar situation? How...
Long time viewer, first time poster here.
So I have had a Sig Sauer MCX 9" 5.56 SBR on order since early November 2015 (paid in full). I ordered this rifle for a work rifle. My wife bought a 16" patrol MCX due to the exaggerated wait times that I could use until I received mine. After...
Hello
Just got off the phone Sig and they confirmed I have two routes form my MCX SBR (both are back ordered). I already have mil-spec SBR (form processing) lower I'll be using. The MCX lower will remain non-AFT regulated.
AR Conversion Kit. This includes a full w/hand guard 9in 300blk...
Would appreciate your advice and experience! I have an MPX SBR in Form 4 prison, just purchased an MCX 300/5.56 carbine this weekend, and submitting Form 1 for MCX 300 SBR. I believe there is significant agreement that the Sig trigger assembly needs serious improvement. I saw a Sig sponsored...
I'm converting my 7.5" P516 to a SBR (I'll file the form 1)
How do I remove the buffer tube? The tube doesn't have the normal notches that an armorer's wrench will fit into. What tools do I need? How do I do it?
Thanks
Ladies and Gents, I mainly joined this forum for one reason. That is to confirm the legality of the Sig 556 (classic and swat) folders. Many, including myself, have searched and searched, read and read, hoped and prayed that they could own or possess this rifle in the state of Michigan. You can...
SIG 716 Flat Dark Earth (see below)
And here come the long guns! Well...some of them aren't so long, as Sig is really increasing their availability of short-barreled versions of their most popular rifles. In fact, there are so many variations that a full picture catalog would be overwhelming...
