I have a SIG P229 chambered in .357 SIG. When I am not carrying it, it sports an old school TRL-3 weapon light (hey, it works!). I've been thinking about getting a better one along with a light-bearing holster because it's probably a good idea to carry one these days. For a long time it was...

Greetings! I am new to this forum and would just like some input. I bought this P229 Legion chambered in .357 sig- brand new, old stock. Everything about it is pristine and has no signs of use nor any marks; just what you would expect on a brand new pistol. I have inspected it alongside a...

I need a new shotgun and just spent a boat load of money on other things, so I've decided to choose between my two most beloved concealed carry pistols as they overlap so much in their use. The LTT trigger on the Beretta is just so much lighter than the SIG in both DA and SA, it's reset is also...

While browsing my LGS yesterday, I saw a P229 Nightmare resting on a shelf behind the counter. Upon inquiring about it, I learned that someone had placed it on hold, pending a trade, but didn’t follow through with it. The LGS was preparing to put it back on the display shelf. While examining...

Hey guys/gals, New to the community. I have bought the Sig P229 select. I am looking to get a red dot optic for this pistol. Can I send this slide off to get milled or is Sig going to eventually offer milled slides (as an independent item) for the 229? Thanks in advance!

I picked up a used P229R which I've been using as a project gun for slowly 'legionizing'. I've thought about swapping the Legion/P224 slide stop and decock lever onto it and I'm just wondering if anyone has had fit issues with them on the regular Hogue G10 grips or if the slide stop has issues...

Hi, New P229 Legion SAO. I live in Massachusetts, so all my mags have the cute little dimples on it. I intend to move to New Hampshire next spring and will properly get to enjoy the Sig Pro Shop! I absolutely love my 229 SAO. That crisp trigger pull is depleting my ammo stock 😁. Looking to...

this is my 229 ti elite with the 224 controls on it. functions perfectly and much more comfy on non shooting hand. needed a tiny bit of sanding on the g10 grip to facilitate a buttery release of the slide.

Does anyone know what holsters will fit my p229 legion sao, most everything on sigs website says not compatible with sao. Thank you.

Help would be appreciated- my P229 takedown lever only goes about 2/3 of the way down so I can’t field strip the gun. I put a new factory barrel in it - this is the only change since the last cleaning. Don’t want to force it.

My first gun was a 9mm P229 enhanced elite that I bought new which I liked well enough, but between it being a CA-compliant gun (mag disconnect and LCI mandatory), FUD about SIG the company itself, and needing to fund my 3rd Generation S&W addiction I ended up selling it. I still had an overall...

I just received my new P229 Legion, which has a black law enforcement finish, and was surprised to find that it also has a slide milled for Romeo optics; however, there’s no information to indicate if it’s cut for a Romeo1 or Romeo1 Pro. I’ve been on hold with Sig for almost an hour now...

I know the loose E2 grip issue has been discussed here before, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried drilling through the plastic and installing screws into the E2. I just got one, and while there isn't any wobble yet, I want to keep it that way.
