Wondering if anyone has OEM specs or experience to speak to the following:
A few years agoI bought a used Western German P220 in 9mm and it is hands down the gun I shoot the best and my favorite gun. It just suits my small hands ( and German heritage ;-) )
Unfortunately I've had...
1. That I own
2. As of 2130 hours on this day of our lord November 17th (subject to change without notice)
Armory Craft - spring kit, hammer, and takedown lever
Evolution Armory - Ionbond coated barrel
Hogue - checkered grips
Sig - fiber optic sights
It looks like the beavertail is integrated into the frame, so cannot be replaced as a component?
So can the tail be sheared down to more of a typical carry size / design?
Or is there another way to alter it?
I looked at the older P220 Carries, but in .45 they are hard to find & not often in...
Hello fellow sig shooters!
New to this forum. I carry my p220 along with others here in California. I was recently wanting to get some new grips for my ol girl due to mine not giving me the best purchase. After reading quite a few different threads, I became confused.
I ordered some HOGUE...
Recently sorting brass for reloading and came across several casings that had what appears to be a firing pin drag indication on the primer.
Upon closer examination, there is a second indent on the primer ring.
The only modification on my P220 is a Sprinco Recoil Compensator.
Have not removed...
I've had a hankering to get one of the all-stainless Sigs for a bit now but living in California and these guns being out of production makes it easier said than done even before the gun market was flipped on its head this year, it wasn't at all unusual for the Stainless Steel Elite variants of...
I saw a steadily climbing local gunbroker auction for a P220, and bet $400 on a whim, and won the auction! After taking possession of the pistol, I put it against my USP 45, and the P220 swept it away. Better balance and feel in the hand, smoother/less recoil, and more accurate shooting for me...
A tribute to my 1st and most meaningful law enforcement handgun: Upon joining a Sheriff’s Office at the young age of nineteen, I chose a Sig-Sauer P-220 .45 for law enforcement use. I purchased this Classic at a local gun show, even before I was legally old enough to do so.
looking for a single stack 45, thinking of a 1911, but want/need reliable (grew up on glocks, now bored with them, want a hammer fired pistol, g21 recoil got to me at some point because too light)
california compliant? huh?
does this come with a threaded barrel or not?
does it come with a...
