I bought my p220 used and I did not notice the wear as much as I should have. Yes, i know, my mistake. Anyways, heres my issue. the left side frame rail shows considerably more wear than the right side. And also on the left side there is 3 small scratches that seem to dig into the frame a little...

I just picked up my 229 brand new in it's case. I've got a couple quick questions. This is my first all metal gun. I assume the protocol here is to give the frame a nice oil rub down along with the slide, correct? Hoppes Elite OK? I hope, because I already used it. :D
