I was shooting my 938 for the first time. 3 rds fired perfect. On the 4th I squeezed off another round and thought a bee stung me on my check. I pulled the trigger again and nothing. I racked tapped and nothing. I drop the magazine and locked the side back. After looking over the pistol I...
Good evening,
I recently purchased a p365 x macro and shot 400 rounds of various ammo with no issues. after cleaning the firearm, I noticed the firing pin protruding when the slide was locked to the rear (see pictures). When I push on the pin (with some pressure) it retracts almost as if...
I purchased a used Sig P226R and quickly found out why it was traded in. Long story short I needed to remove the new style solid firing pin retaining pin. Finding the right punch to remove the FPRP was fairly difficult. I was finally able to find a good set of nail set punches from Wilde Tools...
First time on SigTalk. I apologize if this has already been answered, but I searched and could not find an answer.

I have one of the new 365's with the X-ray sights, and I am concerned about reports of firing pin breakage. How big a problem is this with the newer pistols? Anyone know how many of these pistols have been made and how many broken firing pins were reported?
Hello, I need your expertise... I have a First Generation Sig Sauer MCX with 11.5 inch barrel fitted with a Advanced Armament M4-2000 suppressor. Went to the range yesterday and fired 100 rounds of American Eagle 5.56, 55 grain FMJ. Out of 100 rounds 29 rounds were light primer strikes. When I...
I have a Sig Sauer P227. I lost the Firing Pin Block while cleaning the gun. What will happen if I shoot my gun without the Firing Pin Block?
PS: I couldn't find a single store that sells Firing Pin Block online!
Hi there,
I just tried to disassemble the firing pin assembly on my X-Five. I watched several videos on how to do that on a P226, and as far as I know on the X-Series it should work the same.
So... I field strip the gun, take punch and try to drive out the roll pin in the slide, right to left...
