I have recently picked up a Sig P229 Elite that came with the E2 grips. I would like to spice up the gun and put the Houge G10 grips on it which brings the question to me are the holes for the E2 grips and the G10's the same? And will I need to buy anything other than the grips or is it plug and...
I know the loose E2 grip issue has been discussed here before, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried drilling through the plastic and installing screws into the E2. I just got one, and while there isn't any wobble yet, I want to keep it that way.
Noticed the trend away from 357 going on with many models being discontinued. I am curious what years were the 229 enhanced elite made in 357? I know it's not in production currently.

With the exception of Sig's website (where they're priced way above everyone else), they're sold out virtually everywhere. Are they that popular? Or am I missing something?
