So i may look at making my M18 FCU into a .357 Sig gun, and i was looking at the .357 X-change kit and it says not compatible with manual safety FCUs. Now is that just because the grip module doesnt have the manual safety cut? The slides themselves should just be plug and play correct?

Okay, I've owned and have been shooting Sigs for nearly 30 years. I don't know why I've never looked into the .357 sig caliber until now, but here I am. I have a P320 Compact .357 sig caliber X-CHANGE kit inbound. I'm now looking for guidance on decent target/range and SD ammo recommendations...

Trying to flush mount muzzle break using a compact slide on a full lower. All I can find are threaded 9mm for the p320c. All I can find are Glock in compact 357.... driving me nuts. Please help.

I just bought a new to me P228 red box JK (101 1XX) in excellent condition and today I noticed a P229 SAS .357 slide for sale, so being from California where those are very rare I bought it anticipating 3 scenarios: 1). Being able to use the SAS slide on my P228 and maybe get a 9MM barrel from...

...during panic buying times, there's still plenty of it available at the same prices/quantities as during normal times (at least at the places I buy from like Targetsports, etc.)
  6. Concealed Carry
If cost and availability were not an issue, and you could only have one self-defense round for all your self-defense needs (concealed carry, home defense, and duty), what would it be and why?
  7. SIG Sauer Pistols
For my birthday in April 2019 I'm going to buy a brand new P226 Legion .357 Sig pistol. My gun dealer knows this but the other day he tells me he has something I should see. He has an older P226 .357 Sig that is in excellent condition and probably not priced to bad and I can get him lower. I...

Greetings! I'm a dedicated wheel gunner going back decades to my military days. Especially like my S&W 686 SSR in .357 Magnum. However, I've had my eye on a P226 for a while now. I was able to score a Legend in .40 S&W at a ridiculously low price, so I couldn't pass it up. I intend to chamber...
  9. SIG Sauer Pistols
Hello Everyone! Quick question to anyone that can shed some light on my issue... I purchased my first Sig Sauer pistol early this month; a P229 NITRON COMPACT (229R-9-BSS-CA) in 9mm. The primary purpose of this pistol was to be a new off-duty firearm. The pistol itself is very impressive, not a...

The day I have been waiting for over a week has finally come... my Sig aluminum grips made by Hogue are finally here and I am STOKED about it. I just finished installing them and it was a super easy swap from the E2 grips to these aluminum grips. At $168.54, I was a bit hesitant, however my...

I'm thinking of getting a Sig P320 Compact, but I really want two or three features I can't seem to find in one pistol. I want one in .357 Sig with a Romeo red dot and a manual safety (no need to ask "Why?", I've been carrying Glocks and other striker-fired guns without manual safeties for...
  12. Ammo and Reloading
I called my LGS yesterday afternoon to inquire about some Speer Gold Dot in .357 Sig for my new Legion. They told me they didn't have any(I figured as much). Well today I stopped by to check on my 1911 they're working on(knew it wasn't going to be done) and grab a holster for the P229(also, to...
  13. Legion Series
This is going to be a long half-week for me. Called a place to see if they could order a Legion in .357 Sig for me and he HAD one. Told the guy to put it on layaway and I'd be there Saturday. Unfortunately none of my local shops could even get one on order for me, so I'll be driving about an...
  14. Ammo and Reloading
So, I've lurked, and read... and got ready to reload .357 SIG for the Black Watch, my P226R. $200 later... Midway is having an offer through the 18th for $10 off $100 through $30, and they have good prices on Lee stuff. They were a tad high on the 3 Mec-Gar 15 round .357/40 magazines...

I KNEW about SIGs. But I was happy with my Browning HP, and I still am--first pistol I bought after I turned 21. Too beautiful for daily carry, not that that was easy to get last century... At times I wore my father's old Charter Arms .44 Special, or carried his weird, reliable, and functional...
