Hey y’all. NOT TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK SALE- I have a few offers locally from shops on trade in and sale & one other opinion on value from my father’s friend who runs a shop in NE GA. His value was somewhat higher than local shops- so I want to come here and see if you guys help me determine a...
I just picked up a 2022 Sig P229 Elite in 9mm. I've noticed that Sig has switched to using the legion frame for all their non standard classic series. Meaning the Elite has the trigger guard serrations, shortened beaver tail.
The trigger is the same trigger as the adjustable Grey Guns trigger...
So i think i am going with the truglo tfx type sight on the p320. My 40 has a #6 front #8 rear. It seems they make that as a set. (i was concerned i had to buy 2 sets.)
now looking at trijicons hd (i have to my g17) but dont see ones specifically #6/#8. i like the red front sight and the green...
Hi again,
i recently posted about 22lr kits for the 226. Disappointing to say the least. At that price i am better off (maybe) looking for a 40 conversion kit at or about the same price.
from what i can see, same deal. The only ones possible are the x- kits but they have a 12-15 round mag. (a...
Been looking for a 226 or 228 Nickel (shiny, not the new one).
Seems these are relatively hard to come by. I just really like the look and it is way cheaper than the X.
Assuming i find one at some point, what is a reasonable value range? Base it on the full setup with box and docs.
And if...
so as the title describes, my P226 was recently stolen.
I'm trying to figure out what the model was, but I bought it on consignment and the only information I have is the Serial Number.
unfortunately, this is not enough for the US offices to find the model of the pistol.
so basically I'm asking...
Hi. Not new to firing guns, but new to ownership and Handguns. Just purchased brand new Sig P226 Nitron Full Size 9mm. Have just picked it up but have not had time to throw any lead thru it yet. Any tips prior to doing this?
I bought a Sig P226 Elite in .40 with rosewood grips, nights sights, and oh how I love that srt trigger, "NY Pre Ban" the week before Obama was elected the first time. (traded a glock 23 towards the cost)
I ran the gun 26 weeks a year for IDPA, 50 - 60 rounds each time, for 3 years, then a job...
My Sig P226 Mk 25 is shooting around a 3 to 4 inch group size @ 25 yards.
Does anyone know of any upgraded parts to help reduce group size without any gunsmithing required?
I'm thinking of things like changing bushings or lowering the hammer spring pressure on a 1911 style pistol.
Nothing too...
New to sig. Picked up a P226 in 40 s&w for $500. German frame Exeter slide. Used but not abused. Was a US Marshalls carry weapon. Did I score?I think it's from 2006. Any info would be awesome
Just picked up my first Sig Sauer, a P-226 .40mm police turn-in refurb from Sig. The take down lever is a bear, while cleaning i was able to remove it and applied some lithium grease which helped slightly. Can i swap out my flat lever with a later model one?
